Senate-Passed Resolution Urges State To Support Texas
(Harrisburg, PA) -- The state Senate has approved a resolution urging Governor Shapiro to support the governor of Texas in a dispute with the White House over immigration enforcement. The vote involved an hour of debate last week in which Democrats said that Congress deserves some of the blame for failing to pass immigration reforms. The Texas governor has defied the federal government while installing razor wire along stretches of the border to try to keep people from crossing the border.
