Truckers Need More Parking Hubs in PA

(Harrisburg, PA) - Lobbyists for trucking groups in Pennsylvania are encouraging lawmakers to help build more shelters for tired truckers. PennDOT spokesman Zachary Appleby says help may also be on the way in the form of parking facilities. He says they could be built in industrial sites or land could be redeveloped. Truck industry groups are asking Governor Shapiro to use unspent federal stimulus money to build parking facilities throughout the state.
