>Younger Americans See Wealth Surge Since Pandemic

(New York, NY) -- Americans under 40 are seeing a wealth boost in the years since the pandemic. The value of their financial assets saw an 80-percent jump since 2019, compared with a 10-percent increase for those between 40 and 54. That's according to a new analysis from the Federal Bank of New York. It suggested that younger workers saw their assets surge because they invest more heavily in equities and mutual funds, compared to older Americans who tend to shift into less volatile stocks. It added people under 40 got the most stimulus funding during the pandemic, and were able to invest.
