Penn Medical School Dean Considered as Interim University President

(Philadelphia, PA) -- The man who's been dean of Penn's medical school for the past 12 years is reportedly being considered to be the university's interim president. The Philadelphia Inquirer says J. Larry Jameson is emerging as a frontrunner to take over the role. UPenn announced Liz Magill's resignation Saturday after she was reportedly pressured by donors and was criticized over her testimony to a Congressional hearing about antisemitism on college campuses.
