>>Invasive Snakehead Fish Should Be Reported, Killed

(Harrisburg, PA) -- The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is urging anglers to be on the lookout for Northern Snakeheads on the lower Susquehanna River. The P-F-B-C says their advisory encourages people to report and dispose of the invasive Northern Snakeheads. That's after several were captured in the Conowingo Reservoir, just south of the Pennsylvania border with Maryland. The commission is concerned because there's new evidence that the invasive species is reproducing and because it can live outside of water for several days. Snakeheads are native to China, Korea and Russia.
