(Pittsburgh, PA) -- Lindsay Powell is declaring victory in the special election for Pennsylvania House District 21. The Lawrenceville Democrat saw support from more than 65-percent of voters, compared to Republican Erin Connolly Autenreith's 34-percent, according to preliminary results. Her win means that the Democrats will hang onto a slight majority in Harrisburg. District 21 is in Allegheny County, covering Etna, Millvale, Reserve Township, Shaler Township and part of Pittsburgh.
