>>Escaped Pennsylvania Murderer Captured After Two-Week Manhunt

(East Nantmeal, PA) -- After a massive manhunt, the convicted killer who escaped from a Pennsylvania prison has finally been captured. Authorities say they arrested Danelo Cavalcante this morning and will give further details shortly. The 34-year-old Brazilian native was sentenced to life in prison a week before he scaled a wall and broke out of the Chester County Prison on August 31st. Cavalcante was convicted of brutally stabbing his former girlfriend to death in front of her two young children. He's been on the lam and eluding hundreds of local, state and federal officials for the past two weeks. He was considered armed and extremely dangerous after reportedly stealing a rifle earlier this week.
