Voith Turbo North America Expands York Facilities For "Buy America" Efforts
(Manchester, PA) -- An international company that produces and designs hydraulic turbines is expanding its operations in York County. Officials with Voith Turbo North America, a subsidiary of Germany's Voith Group, say they've broken ground in Manchester on a project that will expand their capacity to make for rail-related products. They hope that will help them meet "Buy America" requirements, such as those found in the 2021 federal infrastructure bill.
