Authorities Identified Reading Man Found Dead In Schuylkill River
(Reading, PA) -- The Berks County coroner's office has identified the body of a man discovered Saturday in the Schuylkill River. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday to determine the cause of death for Khareem Porter, who was 46. Assistant Chief Deputy Coroner Debra Detweiler said Porter's body didn't appear to have been in the water longer than a few days. There were no signs of trauma, but officials couldn't tell if he drowned. They're also trying to determine how Porter got in the river.
