>>State Hospitals Ranked in Top 50 Nationally for Orthopedics
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Two central Pennsylvania facilities have been named in a national report for the top 50 orthopedic hospitals in the country for 2023 and 2024. Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Allentown came in at number 27 on U.S. News and World Report's list and Penn State Health's Hershey Medical Center was ranked 50th. Two other state hospitals were also named to the list: Rothman Orthopaedics at Thomas Jefferson University hospitals in Philadelphia was ranked 34th and the University of Pennsylvania-Penn Presbyterian, also in Philly, was ranked 20th.
