(Harrisburg, PA) -- A Dauphin County jury has convicted Jerome Kasey of first-degree murder in connection to a 2021 shooting. Police say Jeramiah Beamon was Kasey's cousin. The 37-year-old was shot at least five times when he was killed in the Allison Hill section of Harrisburg. The day after the shooting, Kasey fled to Maryland for four days before traveling to Lubbock, Texas. The U.S. Marshals Service captured him in January 2022. His sentencing is set to take place June 26th.
