Nittany Lions Score First NCAA Tournament in 22 Years
(Des Moines, IA) -- The Penn State Nittany Lions have defeated Texas A & M's Aggies in the first round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. The 76-59 win Thursday in Des Moines was Penn's first NCAA Tournament victory in over 20 years. It also was the ninth win in their last 11 games. The Nittany Lions next play Texas in the second round of the Midwest Region on Saturday.
