Elementary School Locked Down after Phone Threat
(Lancaster County, PA) -- Police are investigating a suspicious threat that shut down a Lancaster County elementary school. District superintendent Dr. Phil Gale says Martic Elementary School in the Penn Manor School District was locked down Thursday after leaders there got an anonymous phone threat. State police told staff members to release students at the regular time, but in small groups and under police supervision. After students got on the buses safely, others were released to their parents who were allowed to pick them up.
