They're paying an environmental enforcement officer who will be assigned to city areas to crack down on targeted spots. The officer will use information gleaned from the sites, such as mailing addresses on debris, to prosecute dumpers. Residents can anonymously report illegal dumping activity by calling officials at the Dauphin County Recycling Center.
