(Harrisburg, PA) -- A former Pennsylvania lawyer is pleading guilty to threatening to murder a U.S. Senator. According to court documents, Kenelm Shirk was stopped by Pennsylvania State Police near Shippensburg January 21st last year, on his way to Washington D.C., with several loaded weapons including an AR-15 and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. Shirk has been in custody since his arrest and is facing up to ten years in prison. His lawyer says he owns the guns because he is a target shooter and that he was on his way to Virginia to visit family.

(East Pennsboro Township, PA) -- An Enola man is facing charges for allegedly chasing a juvenile with a knife. The incident in question happened last month, on the 15th, in the one-hundred block of East Manor Avenue. (Dauphin County, PA) -- The Dauphin County District Attorney says the officer-involved shooting that left a man dead near the Dock Street Dam in January was justified. In the early morning hours of January 16th, police responded to the Dam where 36-year-old Miguel Maldonado had driven his car into the freezing cold water with his wife and two-year-old child in the vehicle. By the time officers had arrived, Maldonado and his wife and child were on top of the vehicle that was submerged in the Susquehanna [[ SUS-qua-HAH-nah ]] River and was holding a knife to them. District Attorney Fran Chardo says officers fired at Maldonado when he refused to drop the knife and then lunged toward his wife and child, putting them more in harm's way.

(York County, PA) -- The York County Coroner has released more details regarding the deadly dump truck crash in Peach Bottom Township Monday afternoon. According to reports, the driver of that dump truck, identified as 47-year-old Leonard Montgomery Junior of Baltimore, rolled over his truck driving around a curve. The truck landed on the driver side, leaving Montgomery trapped by the truck and a bridge guardrail. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

(York, PA) -- A York County woman is facing embezzlement charges related to a non-profit group she owned. Forty-nine-year-old Melinda Bixler is accused of funneling nearly $800,000 through the Adult Care Advocates group that was supposed to be helping seniors who couldn't afford healthcare or living expenses. Instead, Bixler allegedly used at least $685,000 of that money to fund her own house, obtaining a mortgage loan for that amount by falsifying statements to York Traditions Bank. Through her non-profit, Bixler had access to client's bank accounts which she used for her own personal gain.

(Plymouth Township, PA) -- State Police are investigating a shooting at the Elite Club 4 Play in Plymouth Township over the weekend. About 4 a.m. police arrived at the strip club on Route 11 where they found the victim who was shot in the head. While the victim will survive, he lost an eye in the shooting. Now police are circulating photos of three men they believe were involved in the attempted murder.

The call about a woman going into labor at a home in West Earl Township came in about 4 a.m. last Thursday morning. Officers Craig Johnson and Josh Mertz were the first on the scene and little baby Josiah wasn't waiting on anyone else. The officers were able to safely assist the mother in the delivery and keep baby Josiah safe until EMS arrived with further care for both the baby and mom.

Outlaw said the city has decided to part ways with the officer because he violated the department's 'Use of Force' policy. Authorities have not identified the officer to this point. Three other officers remain on administrative leave. An investigation continues surrounding this incident.

(Plymouth Township, PA) -- A pair of construction workers are expected to be okay after a boom truck tipped over. It left the two-workers with no other choice but to jump onto the roof of a building in Montgomery County. This all unfolded yesterday afternoon as the workers were in the bucket.
