(Dauphin County, PA) -- Supply chain issues and a global shortage of aluminum haves led officials at Penn State Health to ask for the public's help in supplying used medical equipment. A news release states they're most in need of crutches, canes and walkers for use in hospital emergency departments. To help anyone who would like to donate any of these items, Penn State Health has set up drop-off sites in Berks, Cumberland and Dauphin counties.
