(Harrisburg, PA) -- Four state hospitals and health systems are among the first five picked to be participants in a new statewide program that will use music therapy to "support the resiliency of health care workers who are  on the frontline of the Covid-19 pandemic. The 500-thousand-dollar initiative was created through a partnership of the Hospital and Health System Association of Pennsylvania(HAP) and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. A HAP spokesman says the program will support healthcare workers' well-being- quote " through the healing power of music." Two area hospital groups are taking part: Tower Health's Pottstown Hospital and Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey.
