(Harrisburg, PA) -- Governor Tom Wolf is calling for statewide action against climate change with his administration's Pennsylvania Climate Action Plan 2021. Wolf says as thousands of Pennsylvanians try to recover from historic flooding and tornadoes related to the remnants of Ida this month, the message is clear: We must move now out of a reactive mode on climate change. The plan calls for action through legislation, government, industry, business, agriculture and community organizations. It also features 18 strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions levels by 26-percent by the year 2025 and 80-percent by 2050 while generating an average of 42-thousand new jobs yearly.
