>>Mask Mandate For Pennsylvania State Employees Reinstated, Starting Today

(Harrisburg, PA) -- The mask mandate Governor Tom Wolf has reinstated for all state employees, including contract workers, begins today. The governor announced the reinstatement Friday as a surge in COVID-19 cases continues to spread across the state. The mandate had been lifted June 28th. Governor Wolf pointed to guidelines by the CDC that everyone in areas with high or substantial levels of the virus needs to mask up in indoor spaces. 

>>Overnight Shooting In Shippensburg Leaves One Person Injured

(Shippensburg, PA) -- Police in Shippensburg say one person is recovering from gunshot wounds they suffered in a shooting Saturday night. Police say the shooting occurred about 2:30 yesterday morning on North Queen Street. They say three people were involved. One person began firing at the other two, who returned fire. Several shots hit a house occupied by Shippensburg University students, though no students were involved. Police say a 20-year-old man checked into UPMC Carlisle a little while later with a gunshot wound to his arm. No suspects have been arrested yet.

>>Sadler Health Center Administering Third COVID Vaccine Shots To Those Who Qualify

(Carlisle, PA) -- Officials say Sadler Health Centers in Carlisle and Loysville are administering a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by Moderna to those who qualify. Officials say they're following CDC guidelines that anyone with severely immunocompromised systems should receive an additional shot of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. Sadler officials say anyone who wants a third shot of vaccine should wait at least four weeks after their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, though Sadler is only offering the Moderna shot at the two locations. 

>>Lower Paxton Township Police Search For Armed Robbery Suspect

(Lower Paxton Twp, PA) -- Police in Lower Paxton Township in Dauphin County are searching for a suspect who held up a convenience store at gunpoint Friday night. Police say the suspect held up the Quick In-and-Out Store on Locust Lane. No one was injured. Police are asking anyone with knowledge of the robbery to contact Lower Paxton police.   

>>Dauphin County Prison Suspends In-Person Visitations

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Officials at Dauphin County Prison have suspended in-person visitations until further notice due to a rise in COVID-19 cases in the region. The facility had only reinstated in-person visitations last month when coronavirus cases were dropping. As of Friday, there were 36 positive cases among inmates at the prison and five staffers were also infected. There have been no hospitalizations so far.

>>Church Leaders Concerned About COVID-19 Resurgence

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Local church leaders say they're concerned the latest resurgence of COVID-19 may lead to another lockdown. Pastor David Miller of Welsey Union AME Zion Church tells Fox 43 News his church just reopened for in-person worship services last month, and his church members are now worried over what the Delta variant may do. Though proof of vaccination is not required, they are making people 12 years and older wear a mask and use hand sanitizer.

>>Police Say York Man Killed After Argument At Party

(Lancaster, PA) -- Police in Lancaster say a man from York is dead from a shooting that followed an argument at a party this weekend. Police say they were called to the reported shooting at the party on Hebrank Street Friday night. They say they found a man suffering from several gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he later died. He's identified as 26-year-old Jomar Almestica. A suspect has been identified as Steffan Tidwell. He remains at large.

>>Two Killed In Lancaster County Crash

(Mountville Borough, PA) -- Two people have been killed in a crash in Lancaster County. West Hempfield Township Police closed the eastbound lanes of Route 30 for more than six hours between Stoney Battery and Prospect roads. The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, and no names have been released.

>>Earl Township Home Burns

(Earl Township, PA) -- Firefighters had to be sent to a home in the 700-block of Boyertown Pike in Earl Township shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday. The homeowner tried to put out a fire with a hose but wasn't successful. Fire crews said smoke was coming from the roof and the rear of the home when they arrived. No one was hurt.

>>Crash Kills 82-Year-Old Berks County Man

(Oley Township, PA) -- The Berks County Coroner's office says 82-year-old Robert Mecherly has died after a car crash Friday night. The crash happened in Oley Township on Route 75 at Haas Road. The Colebrookdale Township man was pronounced dead at the scene around 11:15 p.m. His autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.

>>Rain To Continue Today For Parts Of State

(Lehigh, PA) -- Rains from Tropical Storm Henri are expected to continue falling in parts of the state today. Yesterday, several counties were placed under flash flood watch through today at 8 a.m. including Lehigh, Northampton, Warren, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lackawanna, and Schuylkill. Lackawanna County was hit hard by the heavy rains as there have been widespread reports of cars stuck in flood waters and flooded basements. Officials predicted that by the end of the flood watch, areas would have seen rainfall amounts of two-to-four-inches.

>>Pennsylvania State Education Association Recommends Universal Masking In All Schools

(Harrisburg, PA) -- The Pennsylvania State Education Association is recommending that all K-through-12 schools require masks for all students, teachers and staff. PSEA officials say they want to not only open up schools, they have got to keep them open all year long for students. They emphasized that masking could prevent large outbreaks within the community as kids could take the virus home.

>>Two Little League World Series Games Postponed

(South Williamsport, PA) -- Two Little League World Series games are expected to move forward today after being postponed yesterday due to the weather. The heavy rains that swept through parts of the state yesterday thanks to Tropical Storm Henri forced games 15 and 16 of the Little League World Series to be moved to today. Game 15 between Michigan and Texas will start today at 1 p.m. at Volunteer Stadium, and game 16 between Oregon and South Dakota will start at 3 p.m. at Lamade Stadium.
