(Mechanicsburg, PA) -- School districts across Pennsylvania are scrambling to decide what COVID-19 policy to follow in the wake of evolving federal guidelines. Monday night, the Cumberland Valley School District voted to let vaccinations and masks be optional for students and teachers. Both the CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics recommend masks be worn in classrooms this fall. District officials say the policies will change with state guidelines.
