(Lower Paxton Township, PA) -- A man from Lower Paxton Township is being accused of stabbing another man. The incident happened in the six-thousand-block of Willowspring Road on Tuesday. Jose Polanco-Rodriguez was taken into custody following the incident, and he is being held at the Dauphin County Prison.

The President spoke at a Mack Trucks facility in the Lehigh Valley yesterday saying that in recent years, buy American has become a hollow promise. Biden added that his administration is going to make buy American a reality through the Buy American plan, and he's putting the weight of the federal government behind that commitment. The President's proposed changes to the Buy American Act would make it so that all products purchased by federal dollars have to be at least 75-percent American made instead of 55-percent.

(Tokyo) -- York County's Hali Flickinger is on a roll at the Tokyo Olympics. The swimmer from Spring Grove won the bronze medal yesterday in the 200-meter Butterfly. The silver medal went to her U.S. teammate Regan Smith and gold went to China's Zhang Yufei. This is Flickinger's 2nd medal from the Tokyo games as she won bronze in the 400-meter individual medley over the weekend.

>>Bradford County Coroner Arrested

(Bradford County, PA) -- Former Bradford County Coroner Thomas Carman is in custody for allegedly stealing over 400-thousand-dollars from a non-profit he helped run. Officials say the 55-year-old was the CEO of Western Alliance Emergency Services in Troy and had control of its finances from 2014 to 2019. During those five years, Carman reportedly refused to charge rent for his own coroner's office and spent funds on food, concert, games, clothing and even attorney fees for a DUI he was charged with in 2016. The former coroner is also being investigated for allegedly trying to meet up with a 15-year-old boy for sex.

>>Worker Dies After Accident At Cement Plant In Northampton County

(Northampton County, PA) -- An investigation is being launched after a worker died from an injury at a Northampton County cement plant. Officials with the Hercules Cement Plant in Stockertown say the worker suffered an injury on Monday around 4 p.m. while at a site. They didn't say what exactly happened, but the worker was taken to a nearby hospital where he died. It is unclear if the worker was from an outside contractor or a part of Buzzi Unicem USA, which trades as Hercules Cement. The federal Mine Safety and Health Administration will be investigating the incident along with the state and the company.

>>Restaurants Continue To Struggle Amid Pandemic

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Restaurants across the state are still having a hard time getting back on their feet. Pennsylvania Restaurant and Lodging Association officials say establishments are struggling to hire workers, suffering from debt incurred during the crisis and facing rising food prices and shortages. They added that operators have expressed to them that the current workforce challenge is ten times worse than it was even before the pandemic. Many have attributed the shortage to people being lazy or taking advantage of unemployment benefits, but some lawmakers say it's due to wage shortages, lack of benefits, transportation shortages and childcare shortages.
