(Harrisburg, PA) -- Dauphin County Prison is going to be allowing visitors in without requiring them to be vaccinated for COVID-19. County officials announced yesterday that regular visitation at the prison will resume on Monday, July 19th. Visitors will still be required to have their temperatures checked upon entry, and they will be required to still wear masks inside.

(Steelton, PA) -- A man is dead following a shooting in Dauphin County. Authorities announced yesterday that they are now investigating the incident that happened late last month as a homicide after it was determined by an autopsy that Jermaine Gould died of gunshot wounds. Police say officers found Gould injured in the 700-block of South 2nd Street. Anyone with any information or surveillance footage is being asked to contact the Steelton Borough Police Department.

>>Berks County Man Arrested For Allegedly Shooting, Killing Woman

(Muhlenberg Township, PA) -- A Berks County man is behind bars for allegedly shooting and killing a 41-year-old woman inside her apartment. Authorities announced yesterday that the situation most likely happened Monday morning after police stopped Todd Talarico driving in Eloise Moyer's vehicle. Investigators later found Moyer shot to death in her apartment in the 2,500-block of Kutztown Road in Muhlenberg Township. Talarico is facing several charges including criminal homicide.

>>State Attorney General Announces Shutdown Of Meth Ring In Berks County

(Reading, PA) -- State Attorney General Josh Shapiro announced yesterday that authorities have shut down a meth ring that was operating in Berks, Chester and Montgomery counties. Randy Cronrath, Clayton Hoppe, Steven Lightcap, James Michelin and Derek Wagner were all taken into custody for their alleged roles in running the drug trafficking operation. Shapiro says that during the investigation, agents recovered about 60 firearms, 300 grams of crystal meth, three vehicles and over $27,000 in cash.

(Lancaster, PA) -- Police are investigating a double-shooting that happened in Lancaster City. The shooting occurred yesterday evening in the one-hundred-block of Green Street. Police say two people were taken to the hospital for gunshot wounds, but their conditions are unknown at this time.

(Philadelphia, PA) -- President Biden is condemning efforts by Republicans nationwide to reform their state's election process, including Pennsylvania. State Republican lawmakers have recently been pushing for legislation that would enforce voter I.D. and calling for an election audit, similar to the GOP-led one in Arizona. Biden gave a speech in Philadelphia yesterday, saying that this broad assault against voting rights is not unprecedented, but is taking on new and literally pernicious forms. Biden says this is why he's pushing his bill, the For the People Act, to protect the right to vote.

(Bradford County, PA) -- National Weather Service officials are looking to determine whether or not Bradford County was hit by a tornado during this week's storms. The area has seen flooded backyards and trees knocked down by the thunderstorms. However, officials say they may have spotted "tornadic debris signature" while surveying Mount Pisgah State Park. They're expected to release their assessment today.

>>Pennsylvania Task Force One Still In Surfside

(York, PA) -- Pennsylvania Task Force One is still in Surfside, Florida looking for the remaining individuals unaccounted for. As of yesterday, around 95 people have been confirmed dead and 14 people are still unaccounted for. The team was deployed earlier this month following the sudden collapse of the Surfside condominium, and they have been working 12-hour shifts on the clock 24-seven. Members say it was saddening to see their mission shift from rescue to recovery, but they're determined to find the remains of loved ones to bring closure to families. The team is expected to return to Pennsylvania later this week.

>>Pennsylvania Has 3rd Most Arrestees From Capitol Riot

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Pennsylvania is 3rd in the nation when it comes to residents charged with storming the nation's capital on January 6th. Around 42 Pennsylvanians have been accused of participating in the attempted insurrection with Texas ahead with 45 residents and Florida on top with 53 residents. So far, over 500 people have been charged for their part in the riot, and authorities are still looking for around 300 more.

(Olyphant, PA) -- More than one-million Pennsylvanians are missing their second-dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. That's according to a report from the Allentown Morning Call. Some pharmacists say perhaps the reason for people's hesitancy for the second dose is due to stories from others regarding side effects. However, they emphasize the importance of getting the second dose as individuals are not considered fully vaccinated until two weeks after getting it.

(Philadelphia, PA) -- The future of Ben Simmons in Philadelphia remains in limbo. According to The Athletic, several teams are interested in trading for Ben but Philly's asking price remains very high. The Sixers reportedly want an 'All-Star caliber player' in return for the 24-year-old baller. Coach Doc Rivers previously said that he still believes in Simmons, and they will put in the off-season work to improve his offensive play on the court.
