(Harrisburg, PA) -- A two-day COVID-19 vaccination clinic is going to be held at Strawberry Square in Harrisburg. Rite Aid will be operating the clinic next Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the first floor of Strawberry Square inside the Walnut Street entrance in the former Hallmark store. No appointments are necessary to attend the clinic, and doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.

(York City, PA) -- Police are investigating a suspicious death in York City as a homicide. Melissa Duffy of Adams County was found dead Wednesday morning in the 300-block of Rose Avenue. According to the York County coroner, Duffy died of blunt force trauma to the head. Anyone with any information is being asked to contact the York City Police Department.

(York Township, PA) -- A York County man is behind bars after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman at a grocery store. The incident happened Wednesday afternoon at the Giant store on Pauline Drive in York Township. Police say the man made sexual comments towards the woman before he tried to force himself on her. The investigation is ongoing.

(Reading, PA) -- The Santander Arena is looking for funding before this coming hockey season. The Berks County Commissioners recently committed to giving the arena about three-million-dollars, and they will be voting on it during a meeting next Thursday. Officials with Santander say they would use the funding on much-needed upgrades such as replacing its ice panel before the Reading Royals start hosting games in October.

(Fleetwood, PA) -- The Berks County man who is being accused of taking part in the U.S. Capitol riot is due in court next week. Alan Byerly of Fleetwood is facing multiple charges after he was allegedly captured on body-cam footage attacking a number of police officers and a photographer while trying to push himself inside the Capitol building on January 6th. He is expected to show up in court on Monday for a detention hearing.

>>Man Wanted For Allegedly Setting Several Fires In Lancaster Over Past Month

(Lancaster, PA) -- Authorities are searching for a man who is being accused of setting several fires in Lancaster over the past month. Forty-year-old Charles Cieslik is wanted on arson, aggravated assault and risking catastrophe charges. Police say Cieslik allegedly set a building on fire in the one-hundred-block of South Prince Street and started two fires in the 400-block of Beaver Street. Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is being asked to contact the Lancaster Bureau of Police.

(South Heidelberg Township, PA) -- A man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle in South Heidelberg Township. The incident happened Wednesday evening on Route 422 east, also known as Penn Avenue. Police say the 60-year-old victim was crossing the street between Point Road and Mountain Boulevard when he was hit by the vehicle. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is being asked to contact Crime Alert Berks County or the South Heidelberg Township Police Department.

>>Man Accused Of Trafficking Heroin And Fentanyl In Reading

(Reading, PA) -- A Reading man is behind bars for allegedly trafficking heroin and fentanyl in the city. Ramon Belen is being charged with possession with the intent to deliver heroin and fentanyl and persons not to possess firearms after the Berks County District Attorney's Drug Task Force launched an investigation on him last February. Detectives say Belen is also facing several other charges after he sold drugs to somebody who later died of an overdose. He is being held at the Berks County Jail.

(Monroe County, PA) -- Northeastern Pennsylvania is recovering after two back-to-back storms hit the area this week. Homes were damaged by downed trees and thousands were left without power as the storms knocked down power lines. As of yesterday evening, about three-thousand homes in Monroe County still had no power. Officials had to convert places like middle schools into cooling centers to help those without power escape the heat. Crews are on standby in case another storm hits, and residents are urged to watch out for downed power lines and flash flooding.

>>Police Release Details On Deadly Home Explosion From June

(Lancaster County, PA) -- Police are revealing more details from last month's home explosion in Lancaster County that took the lives of an elderly couple. Police say their deaths stemmed from a murder-suicide. They added that on June 1st, Victoria Preston died before the explosion from toxic levels of fentanyl and other medications. Her husband, David, reportedly had control over her medication and set himself and the home on fire after allegedly increasing her medication. Their bodies were found in the home after crews put out the blaze, and no other information was released as to why this happened.

>>Financial Aid Agency To Stop Working With Feds

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Hundreds of jobs are possibly at stake as a Pennsylvania financial aid agency is planning to stop working with the U.S. Department of Education once their contract ends. Officials with the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency say they don't know exactly how many of its more than two-thousand employees will be impacted. The agency has been collecting and keeping track of student loan borrower' payments for the DOE since 2009, and its contract is slated to expire on December 14th of this year.
