(Reading, PA) -- Alvernia University is looking to buy a former Giant grocery store. The university announced yesterday that it will be purchasing the former store along Progress Street in Pottsville. Officials say the school will be holding an official announcement event at the site next Thursday at eleven-in-the-morning.
