(Harrisburg, PA) -- A mass drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination clinic is going to start administering doses for Dauphin County residents today. The clinic will be set up on HACC's campus today and tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Officials say they are predicting about 700 doses of the Moderna vaccine will be given out today, and more than one-thousand doses will be administered tomorrow. Vaccinations are given out by appointment only.

(Reading, PA) -- Reading will undergo a study on the parking landscape of the city soon. The Reading City Council announced last night that it has awarded a contract to Pittsburgh's Desman Design Management. The contract is worth about 123-thousand-dollars and will allow for the management company to perform a citywide comprehensive parking study. City council officials say the city's parking authority is already conducting a study on the parking in downtown areas, but the new contract will give Reading a better understanding on how to manage parking resources.

The health system announced yesterday that Dr. Suzanne Wenderoth is going to serve as executive vice president, C-E-O physician enterprise and interim chief medical officer. Dr. Wenderoth has 20 years of experience as a physician and a healthcare executive, and she was the senior vice president and chief clinical officer of Tower Medical Group. She will be replacing Dr. Gregory Sorenson.

Supervisors announced at a meeting yesterday that the township is set to receive more than two-and-a-half-million-dollars in COVID-19 relief funding. The township will get half of the aid this year and then it'll get the other half next year. Officials say the administration and board will start discussing how the money will be used once the township receives it.

(Lancaster, PA) -- The man being accused of shooting a 17-year-old on Christmas Day in Lancaster is now behind bars. Authorities confirmed yesterday that Shane McCracken was taken into custody this past Friday after he was found inside a residence in the first block of New Dorwat Street. McCracken is facing several charges including attempted homicide and aggravated assault for his alleged involvement in the Christmas Day shooting.
>>State Amends Face Mask Order For Fully Vaccinated Individuals
(Harrisburg, PA) -- The state is modifying its face mask order for individuals who are fully vaccinated. In accordance with the CDC's newest guidelines, Pennsylvanians who are fully vaccinated don't have to wear masks in certain indoor situations, like visiting other fully vaccinated individuals. They can also visit unvaccinated people from a single household who are at low-risk of the virus. Self quarantines or COVID-19 tests after being exposed to an infected individual are no longer required if you're fully vaccinated, as long as you show no symptoms. Masks are still required in public.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Pennsylvania is launching a new clean energy initiative. Governor Tom Wolf says the Project to Utilize Light and Solar Energy will include building solar arrays in seven locations throughout the Commonwealth. These arrays will provide about 50-percent of the state government's electricity. Wolf added that this solar project will also create more than four-hundred jobs and will go into operation in 2023.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro is calling on U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland to close a 'ghost gun' loophole in the federal Gun Control Act. Shapiro says these DIY kits should be subject to the same background checks and qualifications as fully functioning firearms. He added that this will prevent criminals who are not legally able to purchase or possess guns from getting their hands on these deadly, untraceable weapons. The Pennsylvania Attorney General is joining with attorneys general from 17 other states in this call to action.
>>House Passes Bill Aimed To Aid Substitute Teacher Shortage
(Harrisburg, PA) -- The state House is passing a bill that is intended to help school districts with substitute teacher shortages. The bill would amend a law to allow teachers with day-to-day substitute permits to work as a substitute at a school for up to 20-days for multiple instructors. It will extend the limit of employment for individuals with an inactive teaching certification working as substitutes from 90-days to 180-days and more. The bill is now heading to the state Senate for consideration.
>>Ski Lift Incident Injures Father, Two Children
(Tannersville, PA) -- A father and his two kids are injured after a ski lift incident at a Tannersville resort on Sunday. Officials say just before 4 p.m. that day at the Camelback Resort, the family was riding on the Sullivan Express lift when their gondola detached, sending the family flying about 30-feet near the top of a mountain. All three were taken to the hospital, but no details have been released on their conditions. Camelback Resort officials say they're cooperating with authorities in their investigation into the incident.
