(Harrisburg, PA) -- Pennsylvania is seeing another rise in new COVID-19 cases. The state's Department of Health announced more than 1,900 new positive cases yesterday. There were also 27 more people who passed away due to complications of the coronavirus.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- A businesswoman is going to be running for Harrisburg City Council. Crystal Davis announced her plan to run for city council over the weekend. She is the founder and current CEO of At Home Personal Care, which is a business that focuses on helping senior citizens and disabled veterans. She says that her platform will center around increasing the rate of set asides for women and minority-owned businesses by at least 25-percent.

>>Two People Injured In Separate York City Shootings

(York, PA) -- Police are investigating two separate shootings that happened in York over the weekend. Both shootings occurred Saturday night on Poplar Street; one was in the one-thousand-block of East Poplar Street and the other took place in the 700-block about five hours later. A 17-year-old boy and a 26-year-old man are being treated at the hospital for multiple gunshot wounds. Anyone with any information on either shooting is being asked to contact the York County Police Tip Line.

>>Car Accident In West Hanover Township Leaves One Dead

(West Hanover Township, PA) -- One man is dead after a car accident in Dauphin County. The crash happened Friday evening on Interstate 81 in West Hanover Township. Authorities say a vehicle collided with another after it crossed over the center median. A 49-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Harrisburg Police are investigating a shooting that occurred over the weekend. The shooting happened Saturday night near the intersection of Duke and 25th Street. No injuries have been reported from the scene. Anyone with any information on the incident is being asked to contact the Harrisburg Police Department.

>>Reward Offered For Info On Dead Puppies In The Susquehanna River

(East Pennsboro Twp., PA) -- There is nearly two grand in reward money available for information on whoever killed a dozen puppies found in the Susquehanna River earlier this month. The newborn puppies were found February 11th near the West Fairview Boat Launch. Rick Harro, who found the puppies, raised about half of the reward money himself.

(Lurgan Twp., PA) -- No one is hurt after a barn in Franklin County burned over the weekend. It happened on the 1,500-block of Burnt Mill Road in Lurgan Township Saturday night. It’s unclear what may have caused that fire.

(Lancaster Twp., PA) -- Manheim Township police are looking for a man who they say hasn’t been seen in two weeks. Albert Lopez is considered endangered due to a medical condition after going missing Monday February 8th. Anyone who has information on Lopez’s whereabouts is asked to contact Manheim Township police.

>>E-Town Man To Prison Following Rape Conviction

(Lancaster, PA) -- An Elizabethtown man is headed to prison after being convicted of rape. Justin Burke had ten prior sexual assault allegations and several other convictions, leading the judge to sentence him to ten-to-20 years in prison. The 24-year-old will also register at a sexually violent predator for the rest of his life.

(State College, PA) -- Penn State’s first ever virtual THON is being called a success. The 46-hour dance marathon raised over $10.6-million to benefit the Four Diamonds Fund. The 1977, the world’s largest student run philanthropic event has raised over 190 million dollars to help in the fight against childhood cancer.

>>Reward Being Offered For Information On Slain Bald Eagle In Berks County

(Ontelaunee Township, PA) -- A reward is now being offered for any information that leads to the arrest of a poacher who is being accused of killing a bald eagle in Berks County. The Pennsylvania Game Commission announced this past Friday that the Reading Blue Mountain-and-Northern Railroad is offering a five-thousand-dollar reward to catch the suspect. The bald eagle was found shot and killed last month in a parking area off Mountain Road in Tilden Township. Anyone with any information is being asked to contact the Pennsylvania Game Commission's southeast region office.

>>Reading Police Asking For Help In Identifying Three Homicide Suspects

(Reading, PA) -- Reading Police are asking the public for help in identifying three suspects who are being accused of homicide. Detectives released surveillance images on Friday of the three men walking in the area of North 12th and Greenwich streets on the same day that Dominique Lane was shot and killed. Crime Alert Berks County is offering a ten-thousand-dollar reward for any information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with any information is being asked to contact the Reading Police Department's homicide detectives.

>>Protest Takes Place Outside Muhlenberg School District Administration Building

(Muhlenberg Township, PA) -- Parents in Muhlenberg School District are expressing their grievances against remote-learning. A protest took place this past Friday in front of the administration building. Some parents say they feel their children are missing valuable educational experiences because they are not in the classrooms. District officials say they are monitoring CDC guidelines as there were over 80 staff members who tested positive for COVID-19 at the end of the first marking period.

>>Fire Heavily Damages Auto Shop In Lancaster County

(East Hempfield Township, PA) -- Crews are cleaning up the damages done by a fire that broke out at an auto shop in Lancaster County. The fire happened yesterday afternoon at Combined Auto Sales in the 23-hundred-block of Lancaster Road in East Hempfield Township. No one was reported injured at the scene. Officials say the fire is being ruled as accidental.

>>Lancaster County Police Searching For Accused Stalker

(Warwick Township, PA) -- Police are asking the public for help in locating a Lancaster man who is wanted for stalking-related charges. Thomas Wainman of Knightsbridge Drive in Warwick Township had his bail revoked over the weekend. He was charged in December for trespassing and stalking. Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is being asked to contact the Lancaster County Regional Police Department.

>>Water Supply Tower Vandalized, Health Advisory In Effect For Hundreds

(Auburn Borough, PA) -- Hundreds of people in Schuylkill County are under a health advisory after a water supply tower was vandalized. Auburn officials say yesterday morning, they found two sets of footprints which led them to discover that the vent on top of the town's water supply tower was torn off, leaving it exposed. Officials say they don't know if the water was contaminated by the two suspects, but they want to be on the safe side by issuing a "do not consume" advisory for the town of Auburn. This order impacts about nine-hundred people. Officials are testing the water to make sure it is safe, but it could take another day or two. They plan on notifying water customers when they finish their tests. 

>>Disaster Declaration Extended For Pennsylvania

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Pennsylvania is going to remain under a disaster emergency for another 90-day period. Governor Tom Wolf signed the disaster declaration on Friday for the fourth time since the pandemic began. Wolf says we are still in the early stages of the vaccine administration. He added that the renewal of the declaration will allow the state to maintain its response against COVID-19 and support testing, contact tracing and vaccination efforts. The fourth installment of the disaster declaration is set to last until May 19th.

>>Beavertown Firefighter Dies In Line Of Duty

(Beavertown, PA) -- Officials are confirming that a Beavertown firefighter passed away in the line of duty yesterday morning. Rescue Hose Company 20 in Beavertown made the announcement yesterday on their Facebook page, saying they lost their fellow firefighter while responding to a chicken farm fire on Parthemer Road. Officials have not released any other information on the firefighter or the incident.
