>>Second Doses Of Moderna Vaccination Mistaken For First Doses In Pennsylvania

(Harrisburg, PA) -- The Pennsylvania Department of Health is discovering a huge mistake in the state's Moderna vaccine distribution that could affect tens of thousands of residents. Secretary of Health Alison Beam announced yesterday that several providers accidentally gave out second doses of the Moderna vaccine as first doses. Beam says 30-to-60-thousand second-dose appointments will have to be postponed as well as the delivery of 30-to-55-thousand doses. The Pfizer vaccine isn't being affected by the mistake.
