(Harrisburg, PA) -- The Pennsylvania Judicial Conduct Board is filing misconduct charges against a Dauphin County Magisterial District Judge. The board announced yesterday that it has charged Judge Sonya M. McKnight for her alleged actions during a traffic stop involving her son last year. According to the filing, McKnight is being accused of violating the rules governing standards of conduct of magisterial district judges. Board members say if she is found guilty by the court, she could face sanctions including censure, suspension, fines and possible removal from office.
