(Chambersburg, PA) -- Officials with Franklin County Emergency Management say there was a major phone outage yesterday that took down 9-1-1 and non-emergency lines. The outage had impacted residents in Adams, Cumberland, and Franklin counties. It’s reported the outage was connected to a major fiberoptics line cut in Maryland.
