Relief On The Way To Western Pennsylvania Residents In New Coronavirus Bill

(PA) -- Most Pennsylvania residents can expect to soon see some assistance from the federal government thanks to the latest coronavirus relief bill. President Trump signed the two-point-three-trillion dollar bill last night at his Mar-A-Lago Golf Club. The package includes approximately 900-billion dollars for COVID relief and one-point-four-trillion dollars to continue funding the federal government. After the package passed both houses of congress last week, the president voiced concerns about included 600-dollar direct stimulus payments that will go to most Americans. The president said those payment should be two-thousand dollars. Nevertheless, he signed the bill as is. Both of Pennsylvania's Senators and all but two of the state's Congressional representatives supported the package. House Democrats are expected to bring a standalone bill up for a vote today that would issue two-thousand-dollar direct payments to Americans, the amount the president has said that he wants.
