(Harrisburg, PA) -- There are reports that another Republican state Senator has tested positive for COVID-19. Senator Judy Ward of Blair County announced on Facebook Monday that she had a positive test. She attended a November 25thmeeting with President Trump’s attorneys.

>>Two Midstate Schools Pause Winter Sports Season Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

(Susquehanna Twp., PA) -- There are two Midstate schools who are postponing winter sports until next month. Susquehanna Township officials tell Pennlive they won’t resume in-person athletics until at least January 11th. Boiling Springs will put its winter sports season on hold until January 19th, according to the Carlisle Sentinel.

>>Carlisle School District Going to Remote-Learning

(Carlisle, PA) -- Carlisle School District students will be staying in remote-learning. The school district announced yesterday it will remain in online learning until at least January 18th. The decision was made because an outbreak of ten positive COVID-19 cases came over Thanksgiving break. Students were expected to return to in-person classes today.

>>Wolf Administration Giving Three-Million-Dollars to Homelessness Protection

(Harrisburg, PA) -- The Wolf Administration is giving three-million-dollars to fund protection against homelessness for Pennsylvanians this winter. The governor's administration announced the award yesterday. The funding will be sent to about 20 counties in the state to provide emergency shelters and other assistance for the winter months. It will also be used on resources for homeless providers to limit the spread of COVID-19.

>>Cumberland County Man Charged After Carlisle Stabbing

(Cumberland County, PA) -- A Cumberland County man is behind bars after a stabbing in Carlisle. A man was found with several stab wounds in the first block of East North Street on Sunday evening. Police say they arrested Joshua Stokes in the 300 block of North East Street a little later. The victim was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

>>Woman Charged for October Stabbing in Cumberland County

(Cumberland County, PA) -- A Cumberland County woman is being charged for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend to death in October. Twenty-four-year-old Alison Morris was originally charged for reckless endangerment in a stabbing case that led to the death of her 36-year-old boyfriend. Her case was changed yesterday and she is being now charged for criminal homicide. Her preliminary hearing will be held on December 4th.

>>Crash On I-78 In Berks County

(Berks County, PA) -- Berks County authorities are investigating a crash on I-78. The accident happened between Exit 40 and Exit 35 on I-78 yesterday. There's an unknown number of vehicles involved, but witnesses say two tractor trailers looked damaged. No injuries were reported.

>>Lancaster County Landlord Being Charged For Arson

(Lancaster County, PA) -- A Lancaster County landlord is being charged for arson after allegedly catching one of his own properties on fire with three tenants inside. The incident happened Sunday afternoon on the 17-hundred-block of Ridgeview Avenue in East Hempfield Township. Police say the 56-year-old landlord poured flammable liquid down the basement stairs of the property, lit it on fire and tried to barricade a door to trap three tenants who were inside. No injuries were reported, but the man is facing arson and reckless endangerment charges.

>>Berks County Holiday Lights Display Raising Money

(Longswamp Township, PA) -- A Berks County holiday lights display is raising money for the American Cancer Society. The builder of the display, Michael Hertzog, is adding a donation box to his Christmas display for this holiday season. He says he is hoping to help families in need and give the proceeds to the American Cancer Society. The display is located in Mertztown, Berks County at 143 Lori Lane.

(Wyomissing, PA) -- Fox Theatres in Wyomissing is offering deals on private screenings. Officials say the theatre is allowing reservations up to 15 people. A new film screening will cost about 200-dollars and an old release will be about 130-dollars.

>>Fire Breaks Out At Ephrata Performance Arts Center

(Lancaster County, PA) -- Lancaster County Police are asking the public for information about a fire at the Ephrata Performance Arts Center. The fire happened last Tuesday night. Police say they are asking for anyone who was around the Thomas P. Grater Community Park area last Tuesday night who might've witnessed anything suspicious to call the Ephrata Police Department.

>>UPDATE: Man Arrested For Shooting In Whitehall Township Last Friday

(Whitehall Township, PA) -- A man is in police custody in connection to last Friday's shooting outside a Whitehall Township restaurant that left two people with gunshot wounds. Police say the suspect, Waldemar Medero Cora, fought with about a dozen people outside of the Latest Food Trends on the 12-hundred-block of MacArthur Road. Cora allegedly pulled out a handgun and fired into a vehicle near a crowd of people, which police believe injured two and he then fled the scene. The two victims are in stable condition, and Cora is facing charges of reckless endangerment and persons not to possess a gun.

>>State Health Officials Say COVID-19 Cases Rising In Children

(Harrisburg, PA) -- The Department of Health is asking teens to download the COVID Alert PA app with parental permission as the state has been seeing a spike in COVID-19 cases among children. Eight-thousand out of nearly 28-thousand total COVID-19 cases from children were reported in the last two weeks. Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine says anyone 13 and older can now use the alert app, and by expanding the age range, middle and high school students can add their phones to the fight and help in contact tracing that occurs in their schools.

>>Liquor Control Board Holiday Weekend Report

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Three Wilkes-Barre establishments are on thin ice after Pennsylvania State Police Liquor Control Enforcement officers caught them failing to enforce COVID-19 mitigation requirements. Officials say officers visited more than thee-hundred establishments with liquor licenses and issued ten violations and 22 warnings in total from November 27th through November 29th. This means they failed to enforce social distancing, face masks and other health and safety requirements. The names of the Wilkes-Barre locations have not been released as the investigation is ongoing.

>>Crosscutters To Stay In Williamsport

(Williamsport, PA) -- The Williamsport Crosscutters are here to stay after forming a new deal with Major League Baseball. The Crosscutters will be playing under a new league called the MLB Draft League. Team officials say this is a new venture for the MLB as they are heavily invested to want this to succeed, and it's all part of their new branding of baseball overall. The Crosscutters will be hosting a live event through Facebook to inform fans on the new league on December 8th at 7 p.m.
