>>Sex Trafficking Defendant Gets Prison Sentence

(Harrisburg, PA) -- A Harrisburg man is going to serve about 140 months in federal prison for being involved in a sex-trafficking ring. A judge sentenced the 28-year-old man this past Tuesday. Four other men who were also a part of the sex-trafficking ring were also sentenced.

(York City, PA) -- A 23-year-old man is being treated at the hospital after a shooting in York City. The shooting happened Wednesday evening in the one-hundred-block of Pershing Avenue. Police say they found a man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The investigation is still ongoing.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- The search for a missing Harrisburg teenager is over. Fourteen-year-old Byranna Lebert was found in New York City Wednesday afternoon. The girl had been missing since Sunday. Her father says she is safe and unharmed.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Governor Tom Wolf is using his veto power on a weapons bill. The measure passed mostly along state lines through the General Assembly. If it were signed into law, Pennsylvanians would have been allowed to carry guns during an emergency proclamation and guns and ammo shops would be approved to stay open during an emergency.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Officials with the Pennsylvania Game Commission say it was a down firearms season for bear hunting. The four-day season that ended Tuesday saw just 1,165 bears taken, which Pennlive reports is considered relatively low. Overall, there were 3,135 kill during all bear seasons in 2020.

(Reading, PA) -- A building developer is planning to build a row of townhouses on Washington Street. The townhomes will be built in the 300-block of the street and will be close to Entertainment Square. About 15 three-story townhouses are expected to be built by next year.

(Wyomissing, PA) -- Berks County kids are being invited to send letters to Santa Claus in Wyomissing. The town put up a "Letters to Santa" mailbox on Reading Boulevard Wednesday afternoon. Kids can drop their letters off in the bright red mailbox, and they are being promised a response back.

(Tilden Township, PA) -- Store officials at the Cabela's in Tilden Township say they wanted to offer some normalcy this year on Thanksgiving. The store was open yesterday but had limited hours. Cabela's will be offering Black Friday sales, but officials plan to spread them throughout the week to limit how many customers are in the store.

>>Pennsylvania COVID-19 Cases Continue To Rise

(Harrisburg, PA) -- COVID-19 cases are continuing to rise throughout Pennsylvania. Officials say yesterday the state total saw an increase of more than 8,400 new cases, pushing it over 336,000. 

118 new deaths related to the virus were added to the death toll, which is at 10,213. 

>>South Williamsport Area School District Going Remote

(Williamsport, PA) -- The South Williamsport Area School District is transitioning to remote learning in December due to COVID-19. District officials say considering the COVID-19 challenges in Lycoming County, the new state requirements, staffing challenges and the health and safety of students and staff, the district will start transitioning students on Tuesday. Kindergarten through 12th grade students will switch to remote learning on December 1st, and some students with special needs will continue in-person learning on December 2nd. The district will also be reviewing their previously announced plan to return to in-person classes on December 7th, next week.
