Over the weekend, the state saw record-breaking daily case counts as officials added more than 16,000 new cases to the total, pushing it over 265,000. About 118 new deaths related to the virus were added to the death toll, which is surpassing 9300. Lehigh Valley's recent update added 301 new cases to the region's total, bumping it close to 15000.
