(Lower Paxton Twp., PA) -- In a change of course, Central Dauphin School District officials are deciding to keep their middle school students on a hybrid schedule. Superintendent Norman Miller emailed families yesterday saying they are altering the November 2nd return based on the support of their physician and in an abundance of caution. Elementary students will remain in full in-person instruction.

(Lower Paxton Twp., PA) -- Central Dauphin High School officials say they had a positive COVID-19 case last week. In a letter to families, the student was last present in their building last Tuesday. Since then, they’ve been contract tracing fellow classmates and other employees at the high school. Those who may have had close contact are being advised to quarantine for two weeks, then return to class November 4th if no symptoms arise.
