COVID-19 Related Hospitalizations Rising In PA, Still Below April Levels

(Harrisburg, PA) -- The state Department of Health is adding nearly 31-hundred positive COVID-19 cases to its total in its recent release which covers the past two days. The Monday announcement puts P-A at 195-thousand-695 confirmed or probable coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic. There were 19 new deaths related to COVID-19 complications over the past two days, bringing the death toll to 86-hundred-73.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 are on the rise in P-A, but are still below where they peaked in April, according to Doctor Rachel Levine. The state’s Secretary of Health added that Pennsylvanians should take measures to avoid contracting the virus by wearing a mask and practicing social distancing. She said seven in ten COVID-19 positive people cannot fully answer who they’ve been around when it comes to contact tracing.
