>>Corrections Officer Accused Of Attempting To Smuggle Drugs Into York County Prison

(York, PA) -- A corrections officer is accused of trying to smuggle drugs into York County Prison. Joshua Martinez allegedly tried to get prescription drugs to Leland Wade, who is an inmate at the prison. State police believe Martinez took something from Wade’s girlfriend’s mailbox about ten days ago. Martinez was pulled over by state police with three grand and 75 suboxone strips. His attorney says Martinez never intended to bring the items into prison.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- The Pride of the Susquehanna is now in the Susquehanna River. The paddlewheel boat was able to launch from City Island yesterday thanks to help from the Pennsylvania National Guard. The launch is six weeks after when officials wanted to get the boat back into the water due to the coronavirus pandemic.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Hunting licenses are set to go on sale across PA next Monday. During the 2020-2021 season, there will be three elk seasons, expanded hunting for big game on Sundays, and archery deer season that extends deeper into whitetail run than ever before. Hunters who have their senior lifetime licenses still have to get an annual pheasant permit, if they are interested.

(Gettysburg, PA) -- More parts of Gettysburg Military Park will reopen next week. Officials say they will allow guests back inside the museum and visitors center on Thursday June 25th for the first time in three months. Capacity to those facilities is at 50% and all touch screen exhibits will remain closed.

>>State House Resolution Calls For Wolf’s Impeachment

(Harrisburg, PA) -- A state House resolution is being introduced that calls for the impeachment of Governor Tom Wolf. The resolution introduced by State Representative Daryl Metcalf and co-sponsored by 24 Republicans listed five articles of impeachment for consideration, including that Wolf didn’t have the power to order the statewide shutdown, that the DCED waiver process wasn’t executed properly, and that nursing homes were forced to admit COVID-19 positive patients, leading to thousands of deaths. The Butler County Republican issued a statement saying no individual or regime is above the law and that the time for Wolf’s impeachment is now.

>>Middletown Borough Council Censures Councilman Kluskiewicz

(Middletown, PA) -- Middletown Borough Council is censuring Councilman Richard Kluskiewicz. In a seven-to-zero vote Tuesday, council condemned Kluskiewicz, who published cartoons and posts on Facebook some felt were derogators toward Governor Tom Wolf, Health Secretary Doctor Rachel Levine, and Democrats. The posts included one depicting a scenario similar to what preceded the death of George Floyd. Kluskiewicz deleted the posts and did issue an apology.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Police are investigating allegations that a woman was groped by a stranger in the parking lot of Wildwood Park this week. The woman claimed the man she didn’t know touched her inappropriately Monday morning. She wasn’t injured and the man ran away, according to Pennlive.

(Carlisle, PA) -- Spring Carlisle starts today in Cumberland County. The annual car collector flea market and corral has been rescheduled twice from its traditional late April run. A spokesperson for Carlisle Events tells the Carlisle Sentinel they are cutting out some of the elements of the show that aren’t conducive to COVID-19 mitigation efforts.

(Dillsburg, PA) -- The self-shop Marketplace at New Hope Ministries in Dillsburg is reopened to patrons. Officials with New Hope says shoppers can now patronize the Marketplace while wearing a mask and sticking to social distancing guidelines. New Hope had been pre-selecting food for curbside and home deliveries since the start of the pandemic. They serve around 22,000 people annually with food, housing, and jobs.

>>New Holland Man Accused In Sexual Assault Of Six Kids Across Two Counties

(New Holland, PA) -- A man from New Holland is accused in the sexual abuse of six kids in Lancaster and Berks counties. The alleged assaults involving 51-year-old Gustavo Rendon happened between 2003 and 2010. Rendon is accused of abusing the kids in other ways, as well. He’s being held on a half-million dollars bail in Lancaster County Prison.

>>Three Hurt In Lancaster City Fire

(Lancaster, PA) -- Three people are hurt after a fire in Lancaster city yesterday afternoon. It happened on the 600-block of Rockland Street, near the Phoenix Academy. One man reportedly jumped from a second floor balcony to safety. A woman was said to be badly burned in the blaze. It’s believed to have started on the second or third floor of the building.
