The West Shore Symphony joins forces with Harrisburg Choral Society in this Masterworks Concert to examine the notion of wandering: composers and performers who travel, the struggle of the mind & spirit, space exploration, and an homage to the music of the Romani people (formerly referred to as “Gypsies”). The program also features viola soloist Ofir Tomer, a native of Carlisle. Works by Ernest Bloch, Johannes Brahms, George Enescu, George Fredrich Handel, and Gustave Holst. Pre-concert talk by conductor Jennifer Sacher Wiley @ 2:15pm.
Adult $15; Senior $12; Students (HS/College with ID or under age 14) Free
