Xmas trees against the rules for many in Philly

Philadelphians living in a multi-unit home or apartment who have a live Christmas tree may be violating a city ordinance.  A nearly 30-year-old ordinance that's still on the books restricts live Christmas trees any place other than one-and-two family buildings.  The ordinance is meant to prevent fires where there are a lot of people living.  Those violating the ordinance could be fined up to 300 dollars.
