U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions will talk about immigration enforcement and international gangs during a news conference in Baltimore today. Sessions will be joined by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen. Both issues have been hot-button topics for the Trump administration. Arrests of immigrants in the country illegally went up by 25% during the most recent fiscal year compared to the previous fiscal year.
The Justice Department has put the spotlight on gangs, especially MS-13, which is particularly active in Maryland's Montgomery and Prince George's counties.
