Hundreds of students clashed with a group of extremist protesters on the campus of Kutztown University in Maxatawny Township. A group the school calls Matthew 24 Ministries protested yesterday near South Dining Hall, allegedly invoking messages of hate toward Muslims, atheists, women and the LGBT community. The university's Dean of Students alerted students yesterday afternoon of the group's presence. University police were on the scene for hours trying to keep the peace.
