Administrators in the Halifax Area School District are calling gun rumors "unsubstantiated" and "untrue." School officials received information yesterday about a high school student who was planning to bring a gun to the high school. The allegation was investigated and unfounded. Later in the day, a rumor began spreading about threats to the participants at this weekend's Mini-Thon. The district released a statement saying the rumor is untrue and promising a rewarding and fun event to help the 4-Diamonds families.
