Eagle player to donate huge chunk of his pay

Eagles defensive end Chris Long is donating his final ten game checks this season in an effort to increase educational equality.  He had already donated his pay from the first six games of the season to students in Charlottesville, Virginia after white supremacist rallies there turned violent in August.  Money from the "Pledge of 10 for Tomorrow" announced yesterday will go to four education organizations in Philadelphia, Boston and St. Louis.  Long played for the Rams and Patriots prior to coming to the Eagles.
