Two Arrested In Missing Infant Case
(Lancaster County, PA) -- Two women are facing charges after an infant temporarily went missing on Tuesday, including the child's mother. Lancaster County officials said 35-year-old Jesenia Mercado was housing the baby after the Children and Youth Services Agency tried to take custody of the infant from her mother, 18-year-old Kyzhera Weaver. Mercado had reportedly testified under oath on Monday that she did not know where the baby was. Both are charged with concealment of the whereabouts of a child and interference with custody of children.
