(Palmyra, PA) -- The National Transportation Safety Board is releasing the cause of a deadly plane crash in Lebanon County last July. The NTSB says an experimental, amateur-built aircraft went down shortly after taking off from Reigle Airport because the pilot failed to maintain directional control of the tailwheel. The plane crashed into a cornfield, killing 80-year-old passenger Paul Furst. The pilot was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
