Lancaster Public Library Says Funding Cuts Are "Disappointing"
(Lancaster, PA) -- The Lancaster Public Library says the decision by two local governments to pull funding next year is "disappointing." Executive Director Lissa Holland said the library could potentially face issues with programming and staffing if it is not properly funded. The municipalities of Manor and East Hempfield Townships decided to take money for the library out of the 2025 budget after it scheduled a Drag Queen Story Hour back in March. The library saw an increase in private donations after the decisions were announced.
