>Seniors Paying More For Healthcare In U.S. Than Other Countries
(Undated) -- Seniors in America are paying more for healthcare than seniors in other wealthy countries according to a new study. A Commonwealth Fund survey shows about 25 percent of American seniors spent at least two-thousand dollars out of pocket on health care last year. Researchers say under five percent of seniors in France and the Netherlands spent at least two thousand dollars. The study shows those in Australia, Germany and Sweden and several other countries spent less on healthcare than seniors in America.
