Lancaster County Day School Announces Next Steps After Departures
(Lancaster County, PA) -- The Lancaster Country Day School is sharing its plan going forward after a lawsuit that led to the departures of its Head of School and Board President. The two left their positions following a lawsuit that claimed the school did not call police after learning a former student made explicit, deepfake images of female classmates. In a letter sent to parents last night, Lancaster Country Day said its priorities are to find an Acting Head of School and New Board President, give any impacted student the help they need, and review its reporting procedures and safety protocols. Classes at the school were canceled yesterday, but are scheduled to resume today.
