The Head of Lancaster County Day School, Matt Micciche, and its Board President, Angela Ang-Alhadeff, are stepping down from their positions. This decision comes in the wake of a lawsuit filed against the school over its handling of allegations involving a student creating pornographic deep fakes of female classmates.
The lawsuit, filed by parents last week, alleges that the school failed to take appropriate action when the fake images were first reported last year. In response to the leadership changes at the school, the parents have decided to pause the lawsuit for the time being.
Lancaster Country Day has not yet announced who will be taking over the roles of Head of School and Board President. The school is located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and is known for its rigorous academic programs.
