Donovan Leigh Cruz, a 20-year-old man from Lititz, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced to 18 to 36 months in state prison and two years of probation for an incident at a Millersville University fraternity house. The incident occurred on February 24, when Cruz broke into a fraternity house party on the first block of North Prince Street in Millersville. A fight ensued after Cruz was confronted by several people. He punched one person in the jaw and took out a realistic-looking handgun, firing it twice toward the ceiling. He then pointed the gun at the crowd as everyone began to flee. Cruz also pistol-whipped a person during the fight. It was later determined by police that the weapon was a "replica-type gun" that fired blanks.
During his court appearance, Cruz admitted to being under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident and stated, "I made a mistake and have to do the time." according to WGAL News.
