Humane Society of Harrisburg Waiving Adoptions Fees As Part Of Hurricane Relief Effort
(Harrisburg, PA) -- The Humane Society of Harrisburg is helping with animals rescued from the devastation of Hurricane Milton. HSHA took in ten cats over the weekend that were removed from Florida shelters ahead of the storm. Nearly 100 animals, including those cats, were part of a Wings of Rescue airlift to get the animals out of harm's way. To make room for the rescues, the Humane Society of Harrisburg is waiving adoption fees for all cats six months and older and for all large dogs one year and over through Wednesday.
